A duck, a hippy and a cat oh my....

From James' Journey
Mommy's little duck. We finally got him to keep his hat on. When he walked the tail waddled...so cute.

From James' Journey
Brennon dressed up like a hippy for school. He had a big wig and looked very cool:-)

From James' Journey
My little kitty cat. We had everything for this costume- so this was easy a little face paint and walla a cat.

From James' Journey
Our pumpkins- We always do a pumpkin for each child. They get to decide what to carve on it and this year it was creative. I did O's for lil B. Madi and Brennon drew there design and we helped them cut it out.
I love the way they glow- sooo pretty. And the fact that they are still in our front yard uuuhhhmmm! is hilarious. NOT!

We had a very relaxed Halloween this year. Because it was on a Saturday it wasn't so rushed. We hit a few trunk or treats at local churches and called it a night. Since we live where we do we only have a few trick or treaters.

Hope

Three years ago today was the worst day of my life. It has taken three years to regain hope and realize that God has a plan and althought I will never understand here on earth, his plan is ALWAYS GOOD! We are not made for here.
Heaven will be the only home my baby will ever know. My baby will forever be held in Jesus' arms and loved on by his creator. Although I wish I had, had the chance to know and love him here, I will rest in this daily. One day I will hold and kiss his sweet face but for now his Father will.

I love you and will forever carry you in my heart.

October the 5th was lil B's 2nd birthday. It was a Monday and we spent the evening at home. We had dinner together and then let Braiden eat his cake. He loved blowing out the candles. I think we lit them a dozen times. He kept saying more. I love the little celebrations at home. It gives me a time to reflect on the year and remember the day they were born.

Oh, my sweet boy. I love you so much. You were worth everything we went through to get you here. Every day I am in awe of you and your delicious smile and contagious personality. You brighten my life and bring joy and love to my heart.Never forget you are loved and who you are. Always put Jesus first. A million kisses to you.

Psalm 91

Psalm 91
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”

Isn't this so fabulous. I am thankful he is holding me.....

We laughed at where they sat Brennon at Margarittaville. Brennon didn't noticed till we pointed it out to him. I had my camera ready for reaction, too cute. We laughed till we cried!

Everyday while Braiden and Patrick took a nap me and the big kids headed to the beach. We swam and walked on the beach till time to get ready to go eat! Some of my most favorite moments that I will always treasure.

We had a wonderful time. It was great to spend time together. Things have been very hectic this summer with Patrick's job (which we are so thankful for), little Noah's arrival, and summer fun. We feel very lucky to have had this opportunity. It is just what we needed. God's timing is perfect.

On a personal note. I would covet your prayers. There are many things we are dealing with. Patrick and I have some BIG decisions to make. These are not easy. My heart just isn't ready to share just yet! But there are big things on the way and happening. I want to honor and do things that are pleasing to God and always listen to his voice. I just wish he would talk a little louder right now! But his will is what my heart desires to do. No matter how hard it may seem at the time.

Thank you

Brandi
