Christmas on the DreamCatcher Ranch

On Dec 21 of each year my Dad's side of the family the Murray's get together at my Aunt Sharon's house. That was my MawMaw's birthday so we do our Christmas on that day to remember her. It is such fun. The kids play games, pass the pony, balloon relays, bingo's, we sing songs, play trivia, and guessing games. It really is so much fun being with one another. I look forward to it each year. Thanks Aunt Sharon for all your hard work it is a memory that my kids and I will cherish.

Brennon's Christmas Party

This year of all years I'm B's homeroom mom. No one else would do it. So I was in charge of his party at school. We had an early brunch, did a picture frame craft and played a gift giving game. Everyone had a great time. The class picture.. how appropriate.

Smile and giggle

One of your first smiles, now you smile a lot and have started to giggle. You even have dimples on your cheeks. Braiden and Mom can sit all day and talk to each other. Mom is pretty much worthless at this point.

Getting too big

This was one of the last times Braiden slept in his bassinet. You are growing so fast. Now you sleep in your crib and do fairly well. You usually sleep from 9-10 till 2-3 wake up and eat go back to sleep till 6 or so. I don't mind though I cherish the time we have together, even at 3 in the morning.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday Daddy. The kids made dinner. They worked so hard and made everything so nice. We even had a cake. They got him some Mr Grinch Boxers and had a great day doing all this for you. Braiden was asleep during dinner so it was a quiet dinner where we all ate together. After we took Brennon to basketball practice. We love you, you are the best daddy and husband in the world. I know of few people who would do things you do, I'm thankful for you and all you do.

Happy Birthday Grandmother

On Dec 8th we celebrated Grandmother James' Birthday. We had dinner at Uncle Marty and Aunt Peyton's house. They cooked everyone dinner. It was yummy esp the cake. I need the recipe Peyton... Afterwards we opened gifts and then just sat around and let the kids play. Before we left we bathed Braiden and both him and Lily Grace were in pink towels - we should have taken a picture. It was a great evening and hopfully we can do it again soon. We are all blessed to have family who loves each other.

The James' Grand-children

Dec 5th 2 months

Today we went to our 2 month check up. Braiden weighed 12 lbs and 2 ozs. He was 23 inches long so we are a bit on the short side. Everything was great no problems. We decided to wait and watch him for reflux. If we see it not improving or getting worse then we will start some Zantac. We got 4 shots and an oral dose for roto virus. OMG I forgot how bad those were. I'm used to giving them to babies at work but not my baby. He cried so hard and those big blue eyes looked at me with that hurtful look. I hated it... He slept for the rest of the day and we just all loved on him. I had forgotten and agreed to teach for a friend that night so Patrick had him that night. Braiden got to take a bath with MaeMae (Madilyn) and they both had fun doing that.
We go back in Feb for our 4 month and a repeat of shots...

Playing in the leaves

Brennon and Madilyn love raking leaves and then jumping into the pile.

Bath Time So Not Fun

Bath time is not fun. Braiden hates it. All of it. He screams the whole time. I can't wait till he enjoys this more. I remember Brennon and Madilyn Claire loving bath time. I guess every child is different.

It's still not fun.

Field Trip to Mc Wane Center.. November 2, 2007

Brennon and Hunter playing at the Mc Wane Center. They had a great time on their school field trip. I think he liked the bus ride there the most.

Brennon's face and hands. We could have spent all day doing this. It was so fun.

Brennon on the bicycle - he was so serious, he wouldn't look over at us and wave. He looked straight ahead the whole time.

The 1800's

Madilyn had to dress up like the 1800's. They were learning about how things used to be in the 1800's. She loved dressing up. Mom thought it was fun also. And of course we were still in pink.
